Fine Motor & Printing Summer Camp 2011

Hand Skills for Children and Helping Hands Tutors have developed a fun way to prepare for school in September!
Your child will participate in crafts and games based on a story book theme. Sessions are led by a Special Education Teacher from Helping Hands Tutors. In addition, your child will have one-to-one time with a registered Occupational Therapist from Hand Skills for Children in order to work on pre-printing or printing skills depending on your child's skills level.
Skills addressed during the fine motor and printing camp include:
Scissor skills
Hand and upper extremity strength
Bilateral Coordination
Pincer Grasp
Crossing midline
In-hand manipulation skills and other fine motor skills necessary for printing

Please complete and mail the Hand Skills for Children Registration form and with a cheque payable to:
Hand Skills for Children dated for August 15, 2011

Once your registration has been received, our office will confirm your child's registration and schedule a pre-class screen in order to assess your child's skill level to establish goals for our Summer Camp. There is an additional one time registration fee of $30.00 payable at the time of the pre-class screen.
**Please note: we reserve the right to cancel a camp due to low enrolment. The family will be notified and cheques and registration
forms will be returned to the family.
