Infant Program

Power Babies consist of a series of classes developed and taught by an Occupational Therapist in order to provide parents with support in facilitating their baby's development.  Parents will learn about infant motor and cognitive developmental stages from birth through to walking.  Parents will be coached on how to guide their baby in a gentle and fun program of exercises that will promote motor and cognitive development.  For many parents our classes provide additional support and supplement home therapy programs.

Classes are held at our occupational therapy clinic in Toronto East on the Danforth near Pape subway station.

Power Babies was designed to help:

  • Parents who want to be pro-active in their child's development
  • Premies
  • At risk infants
  • Infants with fine and/or gross motor developmental delays
  • Infants with physical challenges (e.g. hypotonia/low muscle tone or high muscle tone)
