Feeding Skills

When feeding is not a pleasant experience for the child, it impacts the entire family. At Hand Skills for Children, we look at the whole child when evaluating for feeding difficulties, including overall motor development and sensory history, as well as considering oral-motor functioning and taste/texture sensitivities.

We offer OT feeding assessments and consultation at our clinic or at your home.

For further information please call 647-236-4263 to speak to an Occupational Therapist.

Currently we are offering the following groups:

Lunch Bunch

This small group supports the needs of picky eaters. This group is for young children who appear overly selective about the food they will eat. Together we will explore the physical and sensory components of eating, with the goal of making mealtime a more comfortable and satisfying experience for the whole family.  This group is co-led by two Occupational Therapists.  Please refer to the group schedule and group fees for details.
